Ellen Kaufman, the founder and president of Tuition Resources, has over 30 years of experience as an accounting and tax professional. As a CPA and CFP® , Ellen helps families pay for college by emphasizing affordability, cost-effectiveness, and “financial fit.” Ellen is also a Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC), a designation held by fewer than 50 practitioners in the U.S. This certification has enabled Ellen to stand out in the college financial aid planning and advising industry.
Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from The George Washington University and a Masters of Science in Accounting with a Tax concentration from the University of Virginia. Her education and skills were beneficial in sending her own three children to private universities.
